Following the increasingly popular trend in labor mobility, Sony launched its VAIO series TT, sitting with notebook with long battery life, low weight, form the internet UMTS / HSUPA and widescreen display with reduced consumption and 16: 9. These, in short, the key points of this new series, produced with elegant look and design thanks to the structure of carbon fiber that reduces the weight (1.3 kg). The connection is possible with 3G speeds up to 7.2 Mbps, while regarding their independence, Sony says 9.5 hours far lasting for the model.

VAIO, after having entered the field of NETBOOK with the Mini Note 2133, expands its range with the new Mini 1000. The Mini Note 2133 it seemed right away trying to VAIO in the race to jump on the train of NETBOOK, probably without having fully assimilated the philosophy and the ability constructive, see for example the VIA processor, the limited battery life and presence of Vista instead of XP. With the Mini 1000, VAIO seems to want to fight on equal terms with the competition, putting in a trade NETBOOK processor with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom, screen or 10.2 by 8.9 inches, 512 MB RAM to 2 GB, 60 GB HDD or SSD 8 and 16 GB.
